Our Mission: Beyond the Plate
A Circular Approach to Island Dining
The Pillars of Our Impact
Powered by the Sun ☀️
We are the only solar-powered restaurant in Nusa Lembongan. Our massive rooftop solar array of 20kWp, coupled with 50kWh of energy storage, allows us to offset between 60% and 90% of our daily energy consumption depending of the season.
This means your morning coffee and Starlink connection are powered directly by the Bali sun, significantly reducing our carbon footprint.
No Grid? No Problem
It is a poorly kept secret that the Nusa Islands are mostly powered by offshore diesel generators.
By producing and storing our own energy, we stop contributing to local fossil fuel consumption. Additionally, when the island’s grid inevitably goes down, we don’t need a noisy, polluting generator to stay open. Our solar batteries keep our kitchen running and our Starlink WiFi online, even during a blackout.
Tangible Impact: Our Carbon Offset
Numbers don’t lie. Our 20kWp solar system produces an average of 80kW per day then prevents approximately 26 tons of CO2 from entering the atmosphere every single year.
To put that into perspective, our annual carbon offset is equivalent to:
Planting over 1,200 mature trees and letting them grow for a decade.
Avoiding 110,000 kilometers of driving in a standard petrol car.
Charging over 3 million smartphones using 100% clean energy.
Plastic Recycling & Community Collection ♻️
Bali ECO Deli financially supports & partners with local recycling initiatives to ensure that plastic waste — which would otherwise end up in our oceans — is processed and repurposed correctly.
To date, we have helped divert thousands of kilograms of plastic from the Nusa Lembongan ecosystem.
Bali ECO Deli is a founding & funding member of the Lembongan Cleaning initiative that unites mindful private businesses in an effort to keep our small island clean.

Ethical Sourcing & Palm Oil Free 🌴
We believe in transparency in our supply chain.
Palm Oil Free: We never use palm oil in our cooking, protecting Indonesia’s rainforests and biodiversity.
Direct Sourcing: We source our organic produce directly from farmers in Bedugul, Bali, supporting local agriculture and reducing food miles.
- Supporting the island seaweed farming economy: We are a founding partner of the Good Karma protein cubes initiative. We use the island made food supplement in some of our recipes, directly supporting Lembongan families.
Composting: 100% of our organic kitchen waste is composted, returning nutrients to the soil rather than the landfill.
Join the Movement & help while visiting
Refill, Don’t Replace: Bring your own bottle for a mineral water refill. We do offer FREE mineral water refills with any purchase. No question asked.
Drop Off Your Plastic: Feel free to use our collection bins for your clean, recyclable plastic. We’ll take care of it responsibly & give you a 10% discount. Really, we can’t make it easier.
- Bring your own bag: single-use plastic bags are supposed to be banned in Bali – including Nusa Lembongan – since 2018. Fact is, they are still distributed like candies in many shops. Those are nasty trash with no recyclable value : most end up in the environment and ultimately in the ocean. Just politely refuse those bags or keep reusing the same one if you really need a bag.
